Who we are

This website, therqon.ca, belongs to Therqon Technologies, a sole proprietorship registered in Alberta, Canada, and owned by Rueben MacIntyre. Therqon Technologies makes AI Process Simulator. For anything about your personal information, email ruebenm@therqon.ca.

What we collect when you download

The download form asks for your name and email address. When you send it, we also record:

• which installer you asked for, and the date and time;
• your internet (IP) address, and the description your browser gives of itself.

What we collect when you send feedback

The feedback form asks for your comments and, only if you choose to give them, your name and email address. When you send it, we also record which page of the website you sent it from, and the date and time.

To keep automated spam out, the website counts, for one hour, how many messages come from your internet (IP) address. It does not store that address with your feedback.

Reading the website asks nothing of you. The download form and the feedback form are the only places we collect personal information.

Why we collect it

To know who is using AI Process Simulator. We may look up your name or email address on LinkedIn to see which company or field you work in, so we can understand who the software is reaching and what to build next. We also use your email address to reply if you write to us.

We read your feedback to decide what to fix and what to build next, and, if you gave an email address, to reply to you.

We do not add you to a mailing list and do not send you marketing emails. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is kept, and who else handles it

• The website is hosted by GoDaddy. Your details are stored in the website’s database on GoDaddy’s servers, and GoDaddy also serves some of the site’s files.
• Feedback is also emailed to ruebenm@therqon.ca, so it passes through our email service, Microsoft 365, provided through GoDaddy.
• The website reaches you through Cloudflare’s network, which also protects it from automated abuse.
• The installer itself is downloaded from GitHub, which sees your IP address when it sends the file.
• The site’s typefaces come from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when a page loads.

These companies may process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to the laws of those countries.

Cookies

The website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare sets one short-lived cookie, named __cf_bm, to tell people from automated traffic. WordPress sets cookies only for the site’s administrator while signed in.

How long we keep it

We keep download records for as long as we offer AI Process Simulator, so we can see how it is used over time, and feedback for as long as it helps us improve the software. If you ask, we delete yours.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email ruebenm@therqon.ca and we will answer within 30 days.
